I have been in love with Meredith's writing since I first got my hands on the Hacker series. This my friends, is not the Hacker series, be prepared. On My Knees had me sucked in from the first chapter. The way that Meredith describes the characters and the feelings they are going through is so captivating. It pulls you right in. Maya and Cam's relationship is so beautiful. But at times I was hanging on the edge of my seat anticipating what was going to come next. I really honestly don't know how to put into words how good this book was! I laughed, cried, was frustrated as hell, I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride. But one that I will ride over and over. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a phenomenal story. Oh and if you have had the pleasure of reading the Hacker series, you know that Meredith can really write a hot sex scene, this book has some seriously HOT SCENES!!!

I did not care for this book. Nothing to make me feel for them. Maya was just a weak willed wuss. Cam just seemed to like getting his feelings sh*t on. Blah

Maya Jacobs had the love of her life at a very young age, but had withheld certain things about her family which lead her to give Cameron the only answer she thought possible when he asked her to marry him. Years past and Maya's life is filled with working hard and alcohol. She uses partying to escape her feelings of regret and heartbreak. Maya struggles daily with what could have been. Cameron Bridge is a military man. He has spent the past few years using the military as a means to forget his love and loss of Maya. After years on deployment he decides to start all over and start his own business in New York. Fate has seemed to bring Maya and Jacob lives back together. Both have changed, especially Maya, but the feelings they both have tried to bury seem to resurface. Can the love they once shared blossom and heal the wounds that are hidden deep inside their souls? I enjoyed this book. Maya and Cameron's relationship is intense and filled with all sorts of emotions. Their sexual relationship is very steamy. Sometimes I wanted to yell at Maya and tell her to just take him back. On the other hand I hated Cameron's reaction in the prologue but he soon made up for it. This was a great story that ended with an HEA. I can't wait to read about Darren and Vanessa.

Couldn't be more different than the Hardwire series, but I loved it nevertheless. It is a rollercoaster of emotions but the deep love between the characters is everpresent. It was a fantastic story, written superbly, and with the characters developing without rush. It really was superb. And there are no cliffhangers. The series continues but focusing on other characters.

Meredith Wild is an amazing writer! She proves this again with On My Knees. This is going to be an outstanding series that will take us romance groupies to our knees! She tells the story of Cam and Maya. College sweethearts with some crazy passion between them. One soul bearing question leaves Maya and Cam devastated. Fast forward 5 years....here is where heartache ,love and determination take on a whole new meaning. What will Maya and Cams future hold? You absolutely have to read this book to find out! If I could give this book more stars I would. #BravoMeredith

If you loved the Hacker series you will love this! IMO it is a different feel than the Hacker series and yet just as gritty, sultry and sassy. Maya and Cameron took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions throughout the book. Since it is told from both point of views, you know the insights and intricacies of the characters actions and emotions. It truly pulls at the heartstrings of anyone who has ever experienced young love and the heartbreak associated with it. LOVED IT.

4.5 Stars This was an intense read.  The prologue killed me, yet it doesn’t stop there- oh no. This heartbreaking tale follows Maya for five years- where she is determined to not need anyone again.  Drinking, hooking up and work are the only things that fill her life.  She knows what real love felt like-Cameron was the one.  But this is what her life has become- all because of her fear and emotional shutdown (it was an overwhelming end to an emotional week!) that had Cameron walking out of her life. Five years later Cameron has never stopped thinking about Maya.  He realizes he gave her an impossible choice, and now wants closure.  Or does he? The sexual tension is off the charts.  The push and pull insane. Will they, won’t they… times infinity!  Ok, maybe a slight exaggeration, but you get what I mean.  I have to say if Maya were real I would’ve choked her then made her listen to the truth.   Fortunately Cam doesn’t give up- even when his family would like otherwise- defending and protecting his girl.  What is one hell of a journey they make together.  And it is beautiful.

I started the novel with the prologue and it was totally hot!!! Once chapter one started I was hooked. Maya is a loyal love bird at heart, but when life turns upside down her demeanor changes. She drinks just to black out and forget the world. The life she lives is Strong, Confident, Sexy, and Naive, but when love returns she starts to question everything. Only time will tell if she opens up for her happy ever after. Cameron is a stiff, straight forward, sexy, and lost man. Ever since the day the word no was uttered he has tormented himself. Cameron went to war with his country and himself. He started over in NYC with his brother and sister. Would it be the start of something great or the demise he always thought he deserved? On My Knees will have you laughing, Upset, Crying, totally involved and ultimately turned on. That is a lot of emotion for just one book but you will feel it all. I hope you love On My Knees and Meredith Wild as much as I do. Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy the book. ~JessicaAnn

The writing was fine.  The story was fine.  The characters were fine.  It was simply a boring read.  I guess I just expected more with the high ratings, but I couldn't finish the book.  Simply nothing exiting about this story.  I felt like I was just reading about someone's day to day life.

On My Knees is so awesomely good I read it 3 times already!!! It is hot. It makes you wish you were in the book. The story has up and downs and lefts and rights and all the emotion you could want. You WILL get lost in this book. YOU WILL feel like you are IN the story. And YOU WILL be begging for more and more... just like Maya does lol! Between On My Knees and Meredith's Hacker Series She is my new Fave Author!!!

Wow, what can I say? I feel like I was just on a marathon roller coaster of emotions. Don't get me wrong, this is a good thing and a testament to how fabulous Meredith Wild is at eliciting that raw emotion that comes with heartache, pain, betrayal, abandonment, and love. If you are a fan of contemporary romance and you haven't read any Meredith Wild yet, you are missing out. She is quickly becoming  one of my all time faves in terms of romance authors. Right up there with Lisa Kleypas, Sarah MacLean, and Julia Quinn, among others.  In a nutshell, Meredith takes us through a story of love lost and slowly pieced back together 5 years later. Maya and Cameron were madly in love but young and Maya was not in a place emotionally to say yes to Cam's unexpected marriage proposal. Heartbroken, Cam walks out and leaves Maya devastated. 5 years later, they run into each but things aren't the same. Maya is broken emotionally but Cam recognizes they still have that connection. The book takes us through their bumpy ride as Maya and Cam learn to trust one another and heal together.  I won't give too much away but needless to say, Maya's character is deep, raw, and imperfect. But she's real and there are glimpses that make my heart ache. So I understand her pain, and love how she develops.  And Cam...All I can say is Squeee...he is amazing.  This book is quite different than the Hardwired series but I love it equally as well. Thank you Meredith...will we have a series here? With the different characters, hint hint???

I have been a fan of Meredith Wild since finding her Hacker series. On my Knees delivers an amazing story of two people as they Love each other - leave each other - then find their way back to where they should have been all along. Cameron and Maya run into each other 5 years after being apart and living in New York City. During that time Maya has spent it working as a finical drone on Wall Street - making decent money but going no where- while she never lets anyone close to her. She spends the weekends trying to forget why her life is not where she saw going 5 years earlier. Cameron has spent most of the past 5 years dodging bullets and bombs to forget the one girl he can never forget. As soon as Maya and Cameron run into each again the fireworks start to fly and the show will keep you on the edge of your seat. Cameron is a Alpha male not taking no for an answer and Maya has a lot of demons that she needs a hero to help her slay. This book kept me turning the pages as fast as i could read them and even had a few twist and turns that I did not see coming. As usual. Meredith knows how to make the love between her characters jump off the pages and you become a champion for this beautiful couple and hope that they will come out on the right side of Love this time around!

First off if you haven't read Meredith Wild you're missing out and this one I believe is my favorite!! Maya Jacob is in love with Cameron Bridge and the wonderful news is Cameron loves Maya, but Maya is a fool to believe that everything has to fall perfectly into place to be happy and get married. so, when Cameron ask her to become his bride she foolishly let's him walk away. When Cameron re-enters Maya's life five years later she's not the same girl he walked out on. She's harder and doesn't believe in love anymore. She lost those dreams when Cameron walked out of her life. Can Cameron make her believe in the dream again and teach her that they can have their fairy tail and it will be perfect for them?

Are you ready to hit the ground running? Lace up your shoes and be prepared to run, because once you start this book, you won't be able to put it down until the very last page. It's going to suck you in, but you will be oh so glad it did. Having read Meredith Wild's other books, I figured I would pretty much love this one too. Not so shocking: my prediction was spot on. I won't reveal anything major plot wise, but I will give you a little something to entice you about On My Knees, Maya and Cameron, and their story. It's hard to put everything I felt while reading this story into this review, but this is just a taste of the things I felt while reading this phenomenal book. It was visceral, it was extremely vulnerable and raw at many times, it had moments that will break your heart and put you back together all in the same breath, and it was magnificently sweet in the way all us lovers of love stories will just simply love. (Can you tell I like the word love?) On My Knees is told in dual perspectives of the main characters Maya and Cameron, which sets this story up beautifully. (I am totally team dual perspective!) It also opens with a prologue that will have you engaged and ready to devour the book from the first page. It doesn't take long to get right to the good stuff, too. You will feel Maya and Cameron right from the very beginning, and you won't stop feeling until your done. On My Knees follows Maya and Cameron as they are thrust back together because of a chance encounter on a busy New York City street. You see, these two have a past, and neither of these deliciously dynamic characters have dealt with that past. Like at all. In the beginning of the book a choice is made, and both Cameron and Maya are still presently reeling from the repercussions of that choice. Those repercussions effect each of them differently, but effect them they do. The reasons for that choice are thoughtfully explained and presented over the course of the story, as Maya and Cameron are presented with another chance. When these two characters find themselves face to face for the first time, they can't help but be drawn to one other again. There are so many desires/thoughts/questions/answers/profanities left unsaid between them, and despite all of the hurt and pain these two share and feel whole heartedly throughout the book, they just can't stay away from one another. This book is full of gut wrenching ups and downs that will leave you breathless, laughing, smiling like a fool, melting into puddles of emotion, fanning yourself repeatedly, and its just remarkable. It also has some pretty interesting twists and turns that keep the story moving at a pace you will just adore. I do not have the right words to properly describe Maya and Cameron to you, but I am going to try my darn best to attempt this with these magnificently dynamic and wholly authentic characters. Both of these characters have their "flaws" that makes them them. These "flaws" just work, and make these characters relatable and easy to read, and you will whole heartedly feel for them when you step into their minds. They also have a spark that flies off the page in spades. It's almost tangible at times, and you will feel their connection to one another as if it were you yourself feeling those things. How that connection changes/evolves/grows over the story also makes for something pretty darn lovely. Maya has chutzpah. That's my favorite way to describe her, because she just is who she is and rocks it. She is unapologetic in a lot of ways, completely owns that, and even though sometimes I wanted to shake her because she was being difficult, I simply adored her character. I also felt for her character from beginning to end, and I thought her development over the course of the book was SPECTACULAR. It also felt extremely well-paced, never too fast or too slow. Just right. Maya’s vulnerability and how she feels comes across beautifully, and it’s easy to understand why she feels, thinks, and acts the way she does. Maya also has a past that gets revealed over the course of the story, and I felt that these revelations came across wonderfully, and helped really explain why the chips fell the way they did. Cameron was just a good guy. He is honest from the get go, and he is not afraid to put it all out there. He also puts his vulnerability on display, and I liked that he was just willing to go there. He recognized his mistakes and he owned them, which took a lot in my opinion. He knew when he messed up, and boy did he try to make up for the choices and actions he made. (Basically he's a good character inside and out!) Cameron is also possessive of Maya in a way that is endearing, yet doesn’t make you want to call the cops. It was balanced well, and it fit his character exponentially. He was determined, he never gave up, and his feelings are his. He's also really good looking, so there's that too. Not to be outdone, this book has some "supporting" characters that will blow you out of the water. At times they add the humor that you didn't even know you needed, the drama you love, and the clarity our two main love birds kind of lack when they're busy with their heads up their butts. (In Maya and Cameron's defense, they have a lot of baggage within their past and present, so its easy to see how they could get caught up in it.)Each of these additional characters add their own flavor to the story that fits seamlessly in with what is happening with Maya and Cameron. I definitely have my favorites within this cast of characters (cough cough Eli), and I am hoping more is to come with them. Fingers crossed. On My Knees follows Maya and Cameron and their scorching off the page chemistry, as they try to figure out what is what between them. They are drawn to one another for a lot of reasons. This story follows them as they try to find, build, and cross the bridge from where they were to where they actually want to be. Their journey is wholly theirs, and makes for an extremely engaging story that will have you in tears one moment, breathless from the visceral moments so eloquently written in the next, smiling like a fool in others, fanning yourself from the connection you feel between them, and in the end you will just feel balanced. Maybe that's not the most interesting word to choose, but that's what I thought at the end of reading On My Knees. It's just balanced, and it works. It's got it all! Every aspect of this book comes together to make a fantastically developed story that you're just going to love..

Meredith Wild out did herself. The book was amazing just couldn't put it down. The story is about Cameron and Maya and the love they had then it was gone. Then 5yrs later found each other again. After a lot of heartache and time they try to rekindle what they once have despite barriers they face. Better be ready to shed some tears. One of the greatest things I loved besides Cam and Maya was the fact that Meredith told the story in both Maya and Cameron's point of view. Which was great to read and understand both Cam and Maya's story. You sure won't be disappointed sh hurry and order the book. I can't wait to read more about their journey in upcoming books.

I was hooked right from the prologue!! This is a great book with some very good characters. Cam is your typical man's man, he was in the military, very fit and likes to feel in control of his life! Maya is completely in love with Cam, but struggling with where she comes from and it becomes a speed bump that they may not be able to get over. Is their love strong enough to overcome years apart, and Maya's insecurities? There are some fantastic supporting characters who bring humor and wisdom to the table and one that you want to drop kick in the face!! On top of all the good stuff already going on, there are some HOT HOT HOT scenes that may require you to take a break of your own!! If you haven't read a Meredith Wild book, this is a great one to start with!! She may just become one of your favorite authors after you read this book!! She is definitely one of mine!!

I love this book. There are so many relationships to sort through... siblings, parents, colleagues, and friends. Then there is the romantic relationship between Cameron and Maya. Cameron is the ultimate book boyfriend. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good book to read by the fire, on a beach, in a recliner, etc....
