About the Author

Dan Saks is an author, musician, and music educator specializing in early childhood education. He has lived and taught in New York City, Mexico City, and Switzerland and has traveled the world as a performing musician. He has published three books for children centered around the theme of family. He currently lives with his wife and two daughters in Brooklyn, New York, where he produces Noodle Loaf, a popular music education podcast for kids with over one million downloads. A Top 10 Apple Podcast in Music Education for Kids, Noodle Loaf builds on the fundamentals of music through play and the exploration of musical genres and silly sounds…lots of silly sounds.

João Fazenda is a Portuguese illustrator whose practice splits between illustration, drawing, animation, comics, and occasionally painting. He studied graphic design and graduated in fine arts from the Lisbon Faculty of Arts, before going on to dedicate himself full-time to creating images for a variety of stories and media. In his work he aims to explore the endless relationship between drawing and narrative in its many ways. He lives and works between London and Lisbon.
