WOW!!! Who would have ever thought that the General led such a complicated and  secretive life!
It was great finding out how Gen. John Hamilton Wilde turned out the way he did. It was also nice to see the
tender side that he so rarely showed to others.
You should definitely read this novella!

    Short book

I was disappointed it was so short! It had a great story line, but ended to short, and make u wait until next book, to find out how his kids feel.

The prequel to the spectacular Wilde series by Sandra Marton, as fascinating as the rest of the series. Johnny Wilde, the US Army General who has always been the formidable patriarch of the high achieving Wilde clan has been quite a character himself, before he metamorphosed into the patriarchal role. Read his story and enjoy. And get a fascinating glimpse into the life of a man who led a double life.

Sandra Marton did it again, held me captivated from the start with this novella! On the Wilde Side:A Novella:In Wilde
Country:The General's Story we have General John Hamilton's(Johnny Wilde) story. We met the General in earlier books
by Sandra-The Wilde Brothers and The Wilde Sisters. This novella explains what makes the General what he is today. The
General's story starts off with General John Hamilton getting drunk and thinking about his life up to now. The General's
story encompasses Johnny's upbringing, with Johnny's father blaming him for things out of his control and when grownup
getting involved and keeping secret relationships and families with 2 totally opposite women. But as we all know secrets
tend to come out! And what a unexpected incident at the end!! Read the story you will not be disappointed I wasn't!
Looking forward to reading more about these Wilde children!! Sandra Marton is a very talented author in my opinion!!
