All Music Guide - Jim Brenholts
The Beau Hunks are amazing. Not only did they re-create Leroy Shield's Little Rascals scores, they have also transcribed his soundtracks from the Laurel & Hardy films, Charley Chase, and other standards from the '30s. These tracks are stand-alone material. The only valid comparisons are to other Beau Hunks CDs.

    A Great CD....but

This is a great little CD, but if you are thinking it will have the same snappy tunes like on the first cd, you will be a little disappointed. This is not to say that there is not some great music here, Leroy Sheld was a great composer, it is just a bit different from the first release. If I would have bought this CD first, I doubt that I would have purchased the other.
