I had hoped this book would offer insight & advice on coping with the physical and emotional aspects of entering the middle years. Instead it contains personal stories of women who have reached the age. It seems the majority felt the first part of their lives had been fraught with mistakes and that abandoning their careers and mates was required in order to have successful middle years. The book has a definite feministic slant.
