I Also Recommend:
Ms. McMahon has a winner in this book--I was hooked on the first page. I could not put the book down and got really involved with the characters. Hope and Molly--both qualified to be our major heroin--Michael and Cree--I'm in love with both of them. Major book for me--and at the same time, I learned something about honor being entwined with Native American customs. Loved It--Have send it all over the country to favorable opinions everywhere. Thanks!!!!!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

You can't put this book down. I love reading about murder trials so I read it. I was also intrigued by the cover as my grandfather is Native American. My grandfather read it also and said it very accurately portrays Native Americans (he's Lakota like the people in the book). I ended up buying another book because I wanted to read it again and so did he. You want to share this book by talking about it, not giving away your copy. This book made my grandfather feel proud. I thought it was an exciting story and I'm recommending to everyone. It's an awesome read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This is the most exciting book I read all year. I couldn't put it down. I bought it because it was about a murder trial and because my grandfather is a Sioux Indian. The story is about an awesome attorney who fights for this Indian charged with murder. You see how much work goes into getting ready for this case to go to trial and how hard it is on the attorney. You also learn things about Native Americans that are accurate according to my grandfather. My grandfather cried and laughed when he read it and said 'she knows Indians.' I had to end up buying my grandfather his own copy because we both wanted to read it again. My humble opinion is that it is going to be a classic. It is awesome, awesome, awesome. If you want to learn to be either an awesome attorney or how modern-day Native Americans live, you need to read this book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. I read a lot of books about trials--I guess I probably would want to be a lawyer if I had the ability--anyway, this is the most exciting trial I've ever read. The female lawyer in this book just blows me away. The first half of the book is about the preparation for the fight of this attorney's life. You can't put this book down once you start to read it. As an extra bonus, you learn things about Native Americans you never knew before. It's awesome! I bought out the local B&N bookstore. This book will blow you away. Was this review helpful?
