Overview

The Billionaire Boys Club is a secret society of six men who have vowed success—at any cost. Not all of them are old money, but all of them are incredibly wealthy. They’re just not always as successful when it comes to love…

As a member of the royal family in a small European country, Griffin Verdi’s presence is requested at the wedding of the century. The scholarly billionaire feels out of his depth in social situations, so a good assistant is required—especially when dealing with royal etiquette.

Unfortunately for Griffin, he’s stuck with Maylee Meriweather, a pretty, charming, and thoroughly unsuitable woman who doesn’t know a thing about high society—but she sure can kiss. Her lack of polish may sink Griffin, because after all, even his money can’t buy class. But through Maylee’s eyes, he’s starting to appreciate the simple things in life—if simple means the most complicated woman he’s ever met.

Maylee is everything Griffin isn’t—and everything he wants—if he can let down his guard and step outside his sheltered world…

The Billionaire Boys Club is breaking all the rules. Don’t miss other novels in the series from InterMix.

Griffin Verdi is a member of the royal family of a small European country. Years ago he had moved to the States, and when his cousin is to marry, his presence is requested. There is no way out of it, even when Griffin's much-valued assistant comes down with chicken pox. Desperate for any help he can get, Griffin accepts the use of his friend Hunter's assistant, not realizing the joke is on him. VERDICT The protagonists are complete opposites, yet together they are very funny and engaging. [Xpress Reviews, 5/16/14.]—Phyllis Goodman, Clermont Cty. P.L., OH

If you like books in which the woman is portraited as a bimbo, 'hillibilie' and ridiculed for being 'country', and the supposedly hero is a spoilt brat that sees her and treats her as a 'commoner' (using the exact words from the book here), then you may enjoy this book. I didn't. In fact, I was flabagasted by the sexist portrayal of the female character and by what an a$$hole the guy was. The scenes were unrelatable, unrealistic, and plain absurd. There is nothing salvageable about this story. The worst part is that I really liked this series and this book just ruined it for me.

I was looking forward to reading this book after "The Wrong Billionaire's Bed". I have to say, I absolutely adore this author but wished for a better story line! I found myself bored with the story because it offered very little imagination. It almost felt as through the author rushed through it. The main character was not well defined and was categorized as a country hick. I also found the love scenes were disappointing as well. Nothing steamy like in her other books. I hope the next book is better!!!

I have to say that im really disappointed with this book. I truely didnt like either of the main characters. The story  was boring. I loved the first and third book in this series. This one really sucked in comparison.

I have been a big fan of the series and was looking forward to this one. I have to say it was disappointing. First, it was very stereotypical and many of the things contradicted themselves. First, Hunter and Gretchen describe her as not a very good assistant and "the joke was on Griffin" for having to take her. Then she is portrayed as very competent. Also, what is with Gretchen in this book? She is nothing like she was in the Hunter/Gretchen storyline. Least favorite of the series by far.

Such a feel good story. This story of a rich snobby man and a poor kind woman is sweet. They are thrown together for a strange reason but they eventually work. I love this series of the Billionaires Boys Club. The author gives you great characters that you fall in love with. The romance/sex scenes were not too many but were very heart felt. If you are looking for a nice read where it is a stand alone book, has a HEA and leaves you with a smile, then this is your book. Can not wait until Jonathan's story! You get a glimpse of it, at the end of this book.

My favorite of the series. The first half is very funny. The second half a predictable story line, but still worth the read.

This series in incredible! I must say that I think is my favorite billionaire yet! He is a bit clueless to many things which is what I think makes him so endearing. Maylee was a breathe of fresh air. I cannot wait to see what awaits for Jonathan given the few hints given in this book.

OMG!!! I believe this maybe the best book I have read in quite some time! I have followed Kenyon, McNaught, etc and added Jill Myles/Jessica Clare to my list! I sincerely LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! Maylee is a hoot.... I love a book that makes you laugh and this one hit it out of the park! She is so southern that its comical and such a complete opposite of stuck up Griffin that this story WORKS! This was the first 'happily ever after' book that I have read in quite some time that made me feel good.... cannot wait for the next book! Definate must buy!

Have loved this series. So, far this one has been the funniest. I enjoy their interplay of the previous characters that are still involved in the story line.

Fell flat when compared to the first three I read. Hopefully the next story will be more interesting. These two characters were just too far apart in their personalities and backgrounds. The story just kept getting more ridiculous.

## AWFUL. Don't bother with this drivel. The worst of this series by far. How did this even get published? The story line is absolutely ridiculous. Royal wedding, poor little rich boy, country bumpkin, burn healing, archeology digs, secret society, horrific grammer.....the list goes on and on. Griffin is a complete ass in this story and Maylee is portrayed as a white trash redneck complete with a double wide trailer upbringing. The "hero" (and I use that term lightly) is constantly berating Maylee about her grammer, clothing and especially her hair. He tells her he hated her on sight because she is everything he dislikes. He tells her she dresses poorly (called her clothes ugly more times than I can count) and that she talks ignorantly. He's completely ashamed to be seen with her. He despises her frizzy curls until the end when he tells her that he loves her hair. Say what??? How can you fall in love with someone who tells you that they hated you on sight? It doesn't matter that he changes his mind later. This guy needed to take a long walk off a short pier. Jeez, he couldn't have been more insulting. "How can I prove to you that I love you?" By kissing her hound dog. Yeah, that should do it. Again, what? And I was so incredibly disappointed the way the author portrayed Gretchen in this story. She was an amazing heroine in Hunter's story, yet she came off as the foul mouthed girlfriend from hell in this book. I'm not sure if I want to continue this series after this dismal installment.

I love this series but this one I think was my favorite. Griff is such a jerk but in an adorable way hard to explain. Loved it
