In the romantic book, Once Upon A Chocolate Kiss, by Cheryl Wolverton, is a story about two hard working people who fall in love. It all started when a women named Samantha runs a man named Richard straight down to the floor. During the fall he broke his ankle, the ankle and fall that changed both their lives. If they never would of fell, they would never of met. Samantha felt so bad that when she found out he was new to town, she offered one of her apartments to rent, in her candy shop that she owns. Richard took the offer and lived with her, they both were falling for eachother hard as the days passed. Samantha wouldn't feel that way if she knew who Richard really was though, which he never told her. He was her biggest competitor and enemy who's business was right down the street, his candy shop was putting her candy shop out of business. The question towards the end of the book is, will she still want him and forgive him when she finds out who he really is. This book was really inspiring to me. I really liked how it was very heartwarming, and the story had a very unique love story compared to most books. The story was very romantic and real which I also really liked. The things I didn't like about the book was that it barely introduced any other characters besides Richard and Samantha. When it did, it didn't stretch out and really characterize who they were. I also didn't like that it was very slow and dull in some parts of the book. But overall it was a good book. I definately would recommend this book to others. Mostly because the feeling you get every time you read this book. It puts you in a good mood because of how heartwarming it is.
