Overview

She came to wed his brother and stole the Dragon's heart...

To settle a feud, Dominique Beauchamp was resigned to wed in order to heal their injured lands. Offered in marriage by her brother to the lord of Drakewich, she came to take the d'Lucy name ... but never counted on losing her heart to the brother of her betrothed--the Black Dragon.

Blaec d'Lucy mistrusted her from the beginning, believing her to be part of her brother's endless perfidy, but he was powerless to resist the fiery-haired vixen that rode so proudly into their midst. Their love was sealed ... once upon a kiss.

At her calculating brother's request, Dominique agrees to wed the Dragon Earl of Drakewood to end a family feud. But the Earl, who has secretly taken a vow of celibacy, tries to pair Dominique with his twin brother, Blaec. And, as Dominique's feelings for Blaec begin to blossom, she discovers her brother's real reason for the match--a plan of betrayal and murder. Original.

I loved this book! I have always read modern romance so I was a little apprehensive about reading this historical romance. However, from the start, I fell in love with the characters of Blaec and Dominique.
Forbidden love is always more intense. I also enjoyed the relationship between the two brothers. I found myself laughing out loud, gasping, heartsick, swooning, and a myriad of other emotions throughout this book. If you take time to read this, I promise you won't be disappointed.

    Excellent

Blaec and Dominique story was so exciting to read. Loved all the twist and turns that were brought into the plot . I even loved to hate Dominique's cruel and heartless brother. This is a great book to read.
