Overview

It is a story of a quest for a three billion dollar treasure hidden by the assassinated Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo. The story takes our characters to the restricted dive water of the Silver Banks near the Turks and Caicos and then to the mountains of the Dominican Republic and from there to Haiti where they become embroiled in gun battles with a rebel faction and a drug lord that kidnaps one of the beatiful women in the group. The story is an epic adventure that is fun, sexy, explosive, and blends historical facts into legendary fiction.

About the Author

Chap Harper is a master scuba diver and for over thirty years he has found the Caribbean to be his favorite place to get wet. Having owned ocean front property in the Dominican Republic, he enjoys a comfort level with the country and her people. Chap also has a small Placer gold claim in the Sierras of Northern California so mining techniques have always been a favorite subject for him. This novel is his first and was written in 2007. It laid on the shelf until he decided to pull it out and get it ready for publication. Chap lives on a lake in Hot Springs, Arkansas with his wife Susan and a large collection of palm trees which he says remind him of the Caribbean.
