Overview

Set against the glittering backdrop of Victorian high society, the rugged American west, and an Ireland struggling for independence, three romantic tales featuring the unconventional Fensters by acclaimed romance author Kelly McClymer…
The Next Best Bride
Helena Fenster is hardly in a position to argue when her impetuous twin Rosaline gets cold feet and persuades the possibly-in-a-delicate-condition Helena to take her place at the altar with the impossibly-committed-to-the-life-of-a-rake Rand Mallon, Earl of Dalby. Helena could almost find herself happy to be wedded to the wickedly charming reprobate who encourages her artistic heart even as he stirs her passions...if only he hadn’t made her promise not to fall in love with him...
The Impetuous Bride
Rosaline Fenster escaped one wedding, leaving her fiance to marry her twin while she pursued adventure in the American South. But now her work on the Underground Railroad has the slave catchers hot on her trail and the only safe haven seems to be in the wagon train of wagon master Rob Lewis. Only trouble is, Rob doesn’t take unmarried single women on his train.
&
The Twelfth Night Bride
Kate Fenster, the youngest sibling of the unconventional Fenster clan, doesn’t accept the suit of Sean McCarthy, Earl of Blarney easily. Instead, she makes the silver-tongued earl prove himself, and his devotion, to her. Abandoned on her wedding night, when Sean must return to Ireland to rescue his younger sister from trouble, Kate finds herself a virgin bride with only her husband’s letters to keep her company at night. When a letter arrives, asking for a divorce, Kate knows what she must do: go to Ireland and face the man who promised her everything and left her with a nothing but a broken heart.

Meet the Author

Kelly McClymer fell in love with Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White as a child. Her most prized possession is her copy of The Complete Tales of the Brothers Grimm. These are the stories which gripped our ancestors as they huddled around the fire at night, which taught countless children to persevere through hardship and succeed against the odds. Her favorite fairytale remains "The Six Swans" -- where a young sister must not speak a word for six years in order to save her brothers from their stepmother's evil spell.

...In addition to her historical romance series, Once Upon a Wedding, Kelly also has five YA novels out with Simon & Schuster, including the Salem Witch Tryouts series featuring teen cheerleading witch Pru Stewart.

I have read all 7 books of the series, and book 5 is my favorite

I have read all 7 books of the series, and book 5 is my favorite. I agree with another reviewer that the writing has improved with each book. The author started including more love making with book 5. Not over the top sex, especially if you read a lot of romance novels, maybe PG rating. Books 1-4 G rated. The author doesn't include a lot of the other siblings in each of the books, just mentions them in and there, some make a short appearance. I wish she wrapped up the stories at the end a little better. It is better to purchase the 2 bundles, than buy individual - thanks for this option (ljb)

    Good so far but......

It is been fun to read the first 4 books but i feel so bad for miranda and simone they have yet to have a child even after 7years of marriage. I would like to buy the next set to finish the series but if i have to go through the next set and they still do not have a child i dont think i can stand it! They deserve it.

    a family of romance

The last three stories in the series of 7 members of one family, coming of age and finding love. All fun reads (including the boxed set of the first 4 novels in series). Found the last in the series, re: youngest sibling, Kate, to be the weakest. But good for snowy day reading - or taking to the beach.

    Disappointed... Some What

I purchased this set, excited to find most of the books in a series in one place... Love the idea B&N, keep it up. Unfortunately, I found the writing to be very predictable. I finished this boxed set and the writing improved as I went. I purchased the final 3 book set because I can't stand not to finish a series. I found book 5 to be pretty good, and am really enjoying book 6. Hopefully by the time I finish book 7 I will look for more books by this author.
