Another clean romance in the Aliso Creek Novella series. I liked this story, just as I did the other ones. However, Valentine isn't really part of the "five". I feel like this was a bit of an add on to the series, but not really connected to the series. It is a good, stand alone short story.
I would let my 15 year old read this story based on its cleanliness, but it is definitely an adult book.

This Novella book is part of the "Aliso Creek Novella" series, however like the other books in the series it can be read alone. The Aliso Creek series follows a group of 5 friends that met in high school.
This particular book follows the story of Valentina who was not one of "the five" but dated Drew (who was) for a couple of years and remained friends with the others after she and Drew broke up. As readers we were introduced to Valentina in another novella of this series.
Valentina is a runway model who goes to LA for a family wedding. At the wedding she runs into an old crush from middle school. They immediately hit it off and enjoy their time together, but he happens to live in Puerto Rico where Valentina's parents live as well.
I enjoyed this quick romance and Heather Moore's books never disappoint me!! Of course I prefer full length books to novellas because I always get caught up in the story and want more, but its always great to sit on the couch after a long day and read a short story.
