Great selections, but too many album tracks are non-original "remakes"

This is a nice selection of well-known "one hit wonders" from the '50s, '60s and '70s. Unfortunately, at least one third of the tracks are not the original versions we knew and loved, and that play on "oldies" stations today. Instead, they are remakes, apparently by the original artists, or are the original versions with additional instrumental tracks overdubbed - some very poorly. WHY??? These choices detract from what could have been a wonderful album!

    waste of money

These were great songs and I expected to hear them the way I heard them originally. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I'm not even sure the "artists" are always the original artists.
