    One Hot Minute

This is one of my favorite chili peppers albums. warped, has a catchy chorus, aeroplane is really funky, and my friends is a great pop/rock ballad. other great songs are coffee shop, falling into grace(good), transcending(great), walkabout(great), shallow be thy game, tear jerker(good), one big mob, one hot minute, and teh really fun, flea written 'pea'. deep kick is teh only song i dont really like because of teh long talking parts. o well, cant win em all. Great Album

    A really good rock album

Place this up against any solid rock recording--its very heavy on bass and drums (Flea and Chad, who have always been the two best musicians in the band). Not your typical RHCP but so what? Better than any thing you would get in 2002 of its genre--so buy it.

    One Cold C.D.

This is a great album but not their best. Ever since their Guitarist John Frusainte left they thought they were done for. But they picked up Janes Addiction Guitarist Dave Naverro. He didnt have the magic to make the band succesful. If u like a different style buy this album. But if u r a fan think twice before u buy it.

    Chili Peppers Are Red Hot

The Red Hot Chili Peppers' One Hot Minute is their best CD out. Each song is very good. This CD also includes what I consider their best song: Walkabout. This is a perfect choice for someone who is interested in the Chili Peppers and wants to hear them at their best.

Very good in its own way, but not for everyone.

I first became interested in the Red Hot Chili Peppers after hearing the absolutely brilliant Californication album in 1999. Since then, I have collected every album from the Peppers. This one is very different from all the other albums because with Dave Navarro as their new guitarist (replacing John Frusciante who left in 1992 but came back in '98), there is much more of a heavy metal sound. There are a couple of very good ballads (My Friends and Tearjerker) as well as traditional Peppers funk rock (such as Aeroplane and Walkabout). The title track particularly is pure, unadulterated metal. My favourite track on the album is Transcending, which begins with a brilliant guitar riff and softly sung lyrics and ends with a nerve-shedding, heavy metal verbal abuse on everything before ending suddenly at the end of the album. Overall, the album is excellent, and while Navarro's style is very different and perhaps less identifiable than Frusciante's, it's still very good. I did, however, prefer '99's Californication as well as the '91 Blood Sugar Sex Magik. While this album is less universal aimed at a more specified audience, I would still recommend this to most people.

One hot minute the perfect follow up from the legendary Blood Sugar Sex Magik

One hot minute was a different sound, from their previous Cd Blood Sex Sugar Magik. Mainly because of a new guitar player. The new guitarist changed their songs completely. The Cd was a little heavier then i would have liked it to be, but Aeroplane, and walkabout makes up for it. Overall the heavier stuff is surprisingly good. Go buy the Cd you will like it.

    NOT THE PEPPERS BEST

The RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are an excellant band, but this would have to be their second worst album (FREAKY STYLEY, of course I haven't listened to RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, the debut album yet) John Frusciante had left and got lost in a world of drugs so they grabbed Jane's Addiction guitairst DAVE NAVARRO. The album ig odd, don't get me wrong, but they could have done better. Navarro could have contributed more for most of the album and the CD is mostly following the lead of Flea and Smith. But hey, that's okay. People weren't expecting this after four years but hey CALIFORNICATION was much better.
