One Hundred One Quick and Easy Woodworking Projects

One Hundred One Quick and Easy Woodworking Projects

by Charles R. Self

Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
Self, author of numerous woodworking books (e.g, Joinery: Methods of Fastening Wood , LJ 4/15/91), has put together a guide that will appeal to woodworkers of all skill levels. It is aptly titled. The easiest projects should take only a few hours to complete; the most complex only a few weekends. Included are projects such as toys, stools, workshop equipment, birdhouses, planters, storage units, and a bed. Each plan includes a bill of materials, tool recommendations, and directions. The photographs and illustrations are particularly clear and helpful. One must be careful when purchasing books in this genre, since too many are just tired compilations of the same old projects. However, many of the projects here seem truly original. Recommended for all collections serving woodworkers.-- Jonathan Hershey, Akron- Summit Cty. P.L., Ohio
