Meet the Author

Heidi Betts is the daughter of an Arabian sheik and a Las Vegas showgirl, as well as the heiress to the Chocolate is Better Than Sex Candy Company fortune. Because of this, she eats chocolate in all its many delicious forms for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and in-between snacks . . . without ever gaining an ounce on her perfect five-foot-nine, size zero figure.

Each and every one of her breathtaking, award-winning novels has been adapted to film and gone on to become a phenomenal box office smash, featuring such mega-stars as Hugh Jackman and Sandra Bullock, Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts, and Harrison Ford and Charlize Theron.

Heidi readily admits that she is only able to write such passionate love stories because of her real-life happily-ever-after romance with superstar actor Dwayne Johnson, who makes every day a fairy tale. When she's not writing or making hot, toe-curling love with her "Rock" of a husband, Heidi can often be found riding naked on horseback (a la Lady Godiva) along the beaches of Malibu or hobnobbing with the rich and famous on Martha's Vineyard.

If you'd like to experience your own perfect, idyllic life just like Heidi Betts, be sure to take the little purple pill. (Not the red one. Never the red one.)

Love at First Bite & One Last Bite by Heidi Betts

I was introduced to Heidi Betts through AuthorIsland com. I started reading her blog on a regular basis before I picked up one of her books. I try to stop by daily to get a chuckle, Sexy Fail Saturdays don't count. Since then I've read Curse of the Dragon's Tears (her story in the Hotter Than Hell anthology), The Bite Before Christmas and Her Little Secret, His Hidden Heir. I have enjoyed them all. I just finished reading Love at First Bite and its epilog One Last Bite. I thoroughly enjoyed them. I laughed so hard I had to put the book up at one point. I think my favorite quote is "I don't think you have to worry. I'm like a sexual camel. I can live on that one orgasm for another ten years easy." This is the story of twin vampires in Vegas who find happiness with twin sisters. The story is told in two parts. Sebastian and Charlotte (aka Chuck) in Vampnapped and Aidan and Chloe in Married. With Fangs. I will admit I liked Vampnapped a little better. One Last Bite was hardly necessary but a nice follow up. Over all a fun read and recommended.

    good book

Sebastian and Chuck were married now they were making love in their hotel. She was an investigator reporter for Las Vegas's newspaper. The person she married was a vampire. I enjoyed this novel and the other story that was with it too. ShelleyMA.

    Funny & Sexy!

This is an epilogue to Must Love Vampires in which there are two stories being told. The epilogue is funny and sexy and a short, but fulfilling, follow-up that answers the questions many readers have at the end of most novels.

If you haven't read Must Love Vampires, then you should prior to One Last Bite. Hmmm, twins and vampires, what could be hotter! Intrigued?

My one request would be to add additional novel of this series since vampires, steamy love scenes, and funny (and witty) story lines are what every woman wants!
