Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Carlee Hallman
A little girl puts on her pretty dress, walks down the aisle, and scatters petals on the path for the bride. It is a garden wedding with floral arches, folding chairs for those attending, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and a ringbearer. The little girl carries a basket of petals and remembers to walk slowly. When the couple says their vows, fold out pages on both sides show the whole bridal party. The couple is white, but a racial mixture is shown. After the ceremony, the little girl dances with one wedding guest after another. At the end, the little girl is asleep on her father's shoulder. Unmetered rhymes tell the story. The drawings, filled in with watercolor, show a bright eyed, curly red-headed girl, about four years old. With its padded cover, dedication page, and practice petals, this book is the perfect gift for a bride to give her flower girl. Reviewer: Carlee Hallman

    Great Wedding Gift

Very colorful and adorable. A little wordy and the flow sometimes ends weirdly. However, a great gift overall.
