One Minute Mysteries - 65 Short Mysteries You Solve With Science

This is a great book for "kids" of all ages to enjoy whenever they have a few minutes just to have some fun, challenge a friend or family member,or just see how good they are at solving these short mysteries on their own. It's also a handy aid for a teacher who might have a few spare minutes at the end of a class period and needs a little help keeping the classroom manageable. I gave copies of the book to my grandchildren and they have all enjoyed the challenges presented. It's a well-written little volume with something for every reader whether science is their favorite topic or not. The father/daughter team of authors has given us a very enjoyable book.

quite good. have not looked at other books that are highly rated

quite good. have not looked at other books that are highly rated. the vignettes are a bit long with extraneous details that the reader needs to ignore.
read these to my 7 yr old son who can figure most of them out  to some degree after I pose the relevant question.
