Overview

Can you know what you want before you have it?

Or do you have to lose it to know for sure?

Mild-mannered Matt Coxwell has finally found something worth fighting for. In fact, it's only after he's left his marriage that he realizes he hasn't fought this hard for anything since he fell like a ton of bricks for his wife Leslie. How did their marriage shift from idyllic into idle? And is there any way back?

Leslie Coxwell, long rumored to be the most organized working mother alive, is suddenly having a tough time coping. Her job's in jeopardy, her teenage daughter has attitude to spare (well, that's not new), and her formidable mother-in-law has moved in unexpectedly...with two very large poodles.

She could juggle it all with the right motivation. Unfortunately her husband, Matt -- the motivation for everything Leslie has ever done -- turned into a sexy enigmatic stranger right before he walked out the door. Even better, he's gone to stay with his free-spirited ex-fiancé, the one woman who makes Leslie feel as sexy as dirty dishwater.

The only good news is that Leslie still has the greatest lingerie collection known to womankind and she's prepared to use it. After all, to give her marriage one more chance, to take the chance on falling in love one more time, she'll need all the support she can get...

Very frustrated. I just purchased this book on my nook and there is nothing but blank pages. I have turned of my Nook 3 times hoping it needed to reset and it is still blank pages. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! A wasted $4.99 for me. Was really looking forward to reading this book too.

I liked the main characters and their relationship issues that they sought to overcome. It were a nice twist from the usual falling in love story line. The author is too description in some parts that i had to just skim over which made the book longer that it needed to be. Still i may give the next book in the series a try, maybe.

I don't know what happened to this book file in December - it looked fine to me and was fine for many readers, then suddenly people started getting blank books. I've just uploaded the new file from my formatter - it looks beautiful to me. I'm going to also send a message to B&N to ask them to ensure that all of you with blank books get this new one. all my best - Deborah PS - Nuts. I have to assign a rating to my own book to post this comment. Well, I liked it - and B&N will probably delete my comment anyway.

Great story about both second chances and letting go of the past. Many people married for any length of time will probably recognize themselves here. Unlike many other romance novels the couple realizes their mistakes fairly early, the entertaining part of this story is watching them decide what to do about that.

"One More Time" is the third book in the series. It is a story of two people, Matt and Leslie, who have been married for many years. It is about how they deal with tragedy and hard times and how they learn more about each other because of these events. The story is not a typical romance, but it is a good story. I think many people may find themselves identifying with these two and all that they go through in their careers and with other family members. The story is well written and enjoyable to read. Copy gifted by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This book was written in a very different tone that the first two books of the series, however, it was still very enjoyable. After being together for 20 years, Matt and Leslie Coxwell hit some bumps in the road when they start to take each other for granted, begin to lose trust in the other’s ability to see their needs and stop communicating. Their problems are brought to a head when Matt’s father dies and Matt thinks he needs to step back (into the arms of his former fiancee) to recapture himself. Meanwhile, Matt’s leaving prompts Leslie to reexamine what she wants out of life. They both come to realize that what they need is each other. There is also some comic relief from this serious story in the guise of Beverly Coxwell and the “girls.” Copy gifted by the Publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Meatier than usual chick lit. I enjoyed the book, and was impressed with the relationship issues explored, as well as the history lessons! I liked the characters and would have enjoyed reading more about them. I'm anxious to read the rest of the series.

It's unfortunate people rated the book poorly because of technical difficulties without knowing content. The book is quite good and deserves a better ranking.

I loved how real their problems were. I was totaly in to the story. 780 pgs. Unfortunately i found my self at times passing pgs since i felt they would ramble on n on about her underwear. But good read in all.

Since this was listed in with the mystery's and thriller's, I was expecting a little more excitement. But, this book is not really a romance either (romance readers normally want more details in the bedroom). A good vacation read.
