Library Journal
The purpose of this book is to demonstrate that modern-day liberalism is anti-American and based on the evil religion of humanism. Howse (Reclaiming a Nation at Risk), founder of the Worldview Weekend Conferences, believes that today's liberals use intimidation and threats to further their agendas, which include defeating conservative political candidates, legalizing same-sex marriage and abortion, and implementing right-to-die laws. Howse points to the Bible and Ten Commandments as perfect examples of moral legislation and the sources of America's civil laws. To his mind, there can be only one God and one truth, and all ideas, values, beliefs, and worldviews that contradict that truth are wrong. Furthermore, there can only be "one nation fully under the loving, caring God who created the very universe in which we live." This is a fearful religious-right isolationist book associated with Christian "heritage," "dominion," and "reconstruction" movements that makes the word worldview a misnomer.
