Meet the Author

Ann Lethbridge grew up in England where she majored in history and business. She has always loved the glamorous, if rather risky, Georgians and in particular the Regency era as drawn by Georgette Heyer. It was that love that prompted her to write her first Regency novel in 2000. She found she enjoyed it so much she just couldn't stop.

Ann moved to Canada in her twenties where she now lives with her husband and two lovely daughters. She writes full-time after recently giving up a career in university administration to focus on her first love, writing novels.

While she writes, Ann enjoys the company of her Maltese terrier, Teaser, she and husband, Keith, found at a dog shelter. He thinks it is mint that she stays home all day with him as he curls up under her feet or on the couch. He is most indignant when she has to go shopping and leave him behind.

Although Ann lives in Canada, she still has lots of family in England and travels back there with her husband once a year to see everyone. It is also a great opportunity to undertake research and seek out those special little nooks and crannies in Britain that bring her stories to life.

Ann's first book with Harlequin, The Rake's Inherited Courtesan, out in April 2009, has garnered praise in several contests for unpublished authors. She loves to hear from readers.

    Short! Very Short!

Although the book was sweet, it was only 49 pages. I feel ripped off!
When you pay for a e-book they should have to disclose the page number.

Memorable characters in a short and lovely story

I enjoyed this novella immensely, and enthusiastically seek out the next book by Ann Lethbridge. The story of widowed Julia and the enigmatic Alistair Dunstan here is very exciting and left me with high hopes that their story will continue in a sequel.
