Overview

One Night in Santiago (A Stanton Family Novella) by Audra North

Lily Stanton's vacation goes from bad to worse when a storm strands her in a foreign country, arguing with an arrogant—and very sexy—stranger over the last available hotel room.

Successful CEO Bruno Komarov wasn't expecting the gorgeous woman checking in at the reception desk to challenge him over a room. Even more surprising, he actually enjoys their exchange.

But when Lily proposes a compromise—she'll take the bed and he can sleep on the couch—Bruno pushes his attraction aside and assures himself that this can remain strictly business. After all, they're both adults capable of keeping their hands to themselves. They'll share the room, get a good night's sleep, and be off to their respective destinations in the morning.

What could possibly happen in just one night?

When I started reading this novella had no idea it was part of a series and you can read as stand alone without a problem too. This was a nice story and I liked Lily from the start, she’s such a nice girl and needed some fun for a moment. Loved the converstaion with her sister, because we can clearly see the love and the worry her family felt for her. Bruno was a great guy actually and very hot too. So their night together was spicy, but they have more than that and it’s clear to anyone the deep understanding and love that could grow between them.

This is the second novella from this author and I’m really loving her creations. More Stanton, please.

Lily and Bruno were hot! These two had an instant pull of attraction that smoked the pages. Getting stormed out, not making your flight, and sharing a hotel room with a gorgeous stranger definitely had its advantages for these two. This was my first read from Audra North and it won't be my last. This was a quick, fantastic read that did not disappoint!

    Good Novella!

If you have an hour or so to relinquish for a hot, steamy novella, then One Night In Santiago by Audra North is the book for you! Given the restrictiveness of the short narrative, the plot is entertaining and the characters are well developed.

Due to a terrible storm, successful business consultant Lily Stanton and CEO Bruno Komarov end up at the Ritz because their respective flights have been cancelled. Fortunately for these two lonely people, the executive suite is the only room available and they are forced to share. Lily and Bruno have instant chemistry and Bruno's alpha tendencies are hot. One night is all they need to realize that there is a possibility of forever together.

I really liked this slightly emotional, fast-paced read. This is the second book I have read by Ms. North and it certainly won't be the last.

    One Night in Santiago:
Lily met Bruno under very romantic circumstances, one room, and two guests. The story was nice but it was short and predictable. I liked anyway. I just felt that it could have been more, the story could have been more. I really like that the characters were well developed and I could identify and like them. Even with the story being so short it was cool. I would give it four stars and recommend it.

What could possible happen in just one night?  Well a whole heck of lot happened in this night.  Forced to share a hotel room, Lily and Bruno spend the night learning about each other.  Both have some issues they're dealing with, especially Lily - and Bruno is more than willing to help her work through them.  Their attraction becomes hard to deny, but the biggest question isn't if they'll do it, but what will they do afterward?  Will it remain an amazing one night in paradise, or will things lead to a future these two travellers can share together?

This was a really fun story.  Both Lily and Bruno have great personalities that worked really well playing off each other.  It was hot when it needed to be, and emotionally mushy just enough to make it all seem real.
