This book.... oh this BOOK.... you guys.
I'm gonna just chill out for a moment here. *breathe in, breathe out* Okay. All better now.
So, I picked up this book because I thought, oh, this oughta be a sweet story... not realizing it was a novella. The story starts strong, and the romance hits you like a truck, but in a good way. I love how Andrew knew who she was, and how much he cared for her; I equally loved how Beatrice fell for him before the masks came off. And when the masks do come off? Well, now that's amazing, but I'm not saying any more than that.
One Night with an Earl took place basically in less than 24 hours, showing that even the shorter stories can pack a lot of feeling. Andrew was to swoon for and I could relate so much to Beatrice. I can't get enough of Jennifer Haymore's books. I've read three of her stories so far and they're all just amazing. This one, though, is my absolute favorite. I seriously kept picking it up again and again to read my favorite parts. It was just THAT GOOD. And? I'll probably never stop wanting to pick it up. A simply MUST read.

One Night with an Earl is short but well put together. By the time it was done I felt like I understood the characters and was rooting for them to get their happy ending, which doesn’t always happen in books that run around 100 pages. Haymore does a fantastic job of giving her readers the history they need to believe that the two could fall for each other so quickly, without creating any sluggishness in the current happenings.
I really enjoyed how, because it was short, we get to concentrate on Beatrice and Drew. We are hand in hand with them as they move from the initial attraction to deeper feelings. Beatrice is understandably reluctant to trust herself with another man and Drew is insightful enough to get that, and to move slowly with her. It’s sweet, tender and heartwarming to see them slowly get past her guard.

ONE NIGHT WITH AN EARL by Jennifer Haymore is another sexy Regency Historical Romance novella. #2.5 in the "House of Trent" series, but can be read as a stand alone. It is the third erotic novella in the HOUSE OF TRENT series.
See, "Devil's Pearl"*Novella*, "The Duchess Hunt", "His For Christmas" *Novella*, and "The Rogue's Proposal". A quick sexy read! Fast paced with engaging characters and an interesting storyline.
Follow, Beatrice Reece, Lady Fenwick, a widow, whom Andrew loved from a far and Andrew Sinclair, a second son of an Earl, on their journey to redemption and love.
Beatrice loves cooking, Andrew loves botany together they are cooking up the heat and the passion. Beatrice doesn't trust easily, Andrew intends to earn her trust. While, in the meantime,Beatrice's parents, I gotta say, are selfish to say the least and will stop at nothing to keep her away from society. They feel her abusive husband had a reason to treat her unkindly, and abominably.
A quick read, only 127 pages, which are packed full of passion and the power of love. A must read for anyone who enjoys a HEA. Lost love re-kindled and re-united!! I truly adore this series, although, ONE NIGHT WITH AN EARL, is more about the power of love, second chances, and trust and less about the House of Trent. You see, Ms. Haymore is helping Lady Esme Hawkins get her novel to readers. What a wonderful concept! A really great read! Received for an honest review.

A sweet, enjoyable novella, One Night with an Earl was a lovely read. A romance of second chances, this book was wonderful and I really liked it.
Beatrice was a lovely heroine. She was strong in her will to endure, through her father's uncaring treatment, her husband's brutality, and society's censure. My one issue was that it seemed odd that a widow would be left at the mercy of her parents' good will and that they would treat her as if she was an unmarried young lady. Otherwise, though, I really liked her.
Andrew was very sweet. He had always been in love with Beatrice and, after missing his first chance with her, he definitely wasn't going to let his second chance go by. He was absolutely wonderful and I adored him.
The romance was both sweet and spicy. Beatrice and Andrew were lovely together, and I liked how they were given a second chance to be together. And, the chemistry between them was constantly sizzling. I thought they were a perfect couple.
The plot was well paced and I was kept interested the entire way through. I really enjoyed the story and the ending was very sweet.
One Night with an Earl was a wonderful historical romance novella. I really liked this lovely read. Romance lovers, if you want a quick, enjoyable read, you'll definitely want to read this book.
