this the first book i read from bette ford but it was great i couldn't but the book down after i was done with it i read it again it was so good
I finished reading One of A Kind in just a little over a day. I love the Romance scenes. I love the way Ford portrays the love between an African American man and woman. Anthia and Dexter should have hooked up sooner, but it truly showed the inner battles we fight even in the name of love.
This book was truly 'one of a kind', it was well worth the read. Bette Ford fans this is a definte must read.
First and foremost....let me just start off by saying that I LOVE BETTE FORD! Second, I felt as though I could have kept my $6.00 bucks. I normally rush to my favorite book store and/or have them hold me a copy of her latest book as soon as it arrives at the store. Her books normally have me reading all night and finishing the story within 2 days. With this novel, I kept putting it down and picking it up in 3 weeks at a time. It didn't hold my interest at all. I was even disappointed in the love scenes.....BETTE WRITES THE BEST LOVE SCENES IN THE ENTIRE ROMANCE BUSINESS. I just felt that the characters could have linked up sooner and Anthia's happiness should have happened sooner. I hope that her next novel is a hit!!!!!
