Overview

9-11 RESPONDERS DYING OF NEGLECT

The "first responders" were those heroes that rushed to the World Trade Center in the aftermath of the attack on 9/11. Numbering in the thousands, they were relentless in their efforts to search, rescue, and clear debris over eighteen agonizing months.

But now many of these men and women are becoming gravely ill; some are even dying. And the cause has been traced back to Ground Zero.

Though the first responders were originally guaranteed by political leaders that the site was relatively safe to work in, new evidence proves that Ground Zero was in fact secretly known to be a lethal zone of deadly, toxic contamination. To compound this ignominy, these same politicians now ignore these heroes' pleas for medical and financial help.

One of Them is a blistering account of deception, lies and cover-ups perpetrated by America's leaders. Written by Steven Centore, a 9/11 first responder, the book reminds us that the worse may be yet to come: Tens of thousands of residents who lived close to Ground Zero were also assured by US officials that their homes were safe to return to. Who knows what may be in store for them?
