This is a short story with an interesting premise.  It could maybe have been explored a little further, and I felt a slight lack of urgency overall, but as a gentle, thoughtful read, it’s enjoyable.  It held my attention from beginning to end. The writing is good:  smooth, engaging, and nearly error-free.  And I really liked the touching description of the photo in the second-to-last paragraph.   I would read more by L. Joseph Shosty.   *I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.*
