    Boys love this series

My boys, 13 and 10, love this graphic novel series (and yes, they continue to read "real" books, as well).

    Arlong Park

Luffy and his friends head to Arlong Park in search of their traitorous navigator, Nami. In the midst of a village filled with fear, forgotten by corrupt marines, and ruled by a ruthless Merman, will the Straw Hats come out alive?

    all about nami

In Vol. 9, you learn what's the deal with Nami, why she stole the Mery Go, and why she's goin' to Arlong Park. It also tells how she got hooked up with Arlong, the merman. Nojiko (Nami's sis) tells Luffy, Sanji, Zolo, and Usopp about Belle-Mere and how she would always get in touble when she was little. After knowing her past, Luffy storms of to Arolng Park to find Arlong and defeat him for Nami, his navigator and his friend.

    the best piece yet...

The Arlong Arc is my favorite out of the entire One Piece adventure, thus far-my fave piece of One Piece. Discover Nami's past and find a darker side to her story than just a passion for treasure. Oda-sensei will totally blow you away with his ability to enrapture you in this amazing story. If you buy any of the One Piece collection, this has to be the one! A warning: read this, and you'll be hooked! It's that good.
