Overview

Bayleigh Williams made a pact with three of her best friends, not having any idea what trouble it could lead to. She's achieved all the goals she’s set in life. She has a successful career, respectable education, and she is independent. Yet, something is missing. She doesn’t realize what it is...until she ends up in bed with her best friend, Dane Holden. Still Bayleigh knows nothing can come of it. Or can it?

Dane Holden has been harboring a secret for five years. He is attracted to his best friend, Bayleigh. After they end up in bed together after a late night work session, he realizes his opportunity to make his move has come. Now all he has to do is convince Bayleigh that what occurred between the two of them was more than one reckless night and that a relationship between them can be just as good as the friendship they currently have. Little does he know how intent Bayleigh is on proving him wrong, but he isn’t giving up without a fight.

Meet the Author

Stephanie Morris enjoys creating a story that combines a sensual energy with a captivating storyline. Sometimes her heroines have an edgier persona to them and sometimes they are of a softer essence. But all the time, her heroines are like real women, just trying to make a living and keep on going no matter what challenges life brings them. In Stephanie’s opinion, there is nothing like curling up with a good book that you can’t put down, and she is addicted to writing them.

I have about 100 pages left and I still have mixed feelings about this story. I enjoyed the chemistry between Bayleigh and Dane but the general interactions between characters, specifically the dialogue, seemed forced, drawn out, and repetitive. The storyline was good and believable.  This is a first for me by this author but I hope to read more by her.

    Poorly written

This book has grammatical distractions and moves very slow. There is a good story; however, it is carelessly written.

    Not worth your $$$

The editing was horrible! I would've been more than happy to proof read this story for the author. The story was slow moving and redundant. I got bored a couple of times. Not worth the money...couldve been shorter instead of dragging on forever.
