Overview

Alexis Joplin, popular host of the travel show, Overnight Stays, is embarking on her final scouting expedition with her partner and best friend, Shane Fowler. Over the course of the last two years, the duo has grown closer not only at work, but outside of the job. While their friends and co-workers may whisper that something more than friendship is the source of their mutual admiration, they deny it even as their personal feelings are reaching a critical apex.

Shrouded in the dark beauty of a hundred year old inn, while lightning flashes and thunder rumbles, neither Alexis nor Shane can hold on to the pretense any longer. They give in to one night of passion with the promise that in the morning, they’ll awake as friends.

But is it a promise they both can keep?

A sweet and heart-warming story This is a sweet and heart-warmi

    A sweet and heart-warming story

This is a sweet and heart-warming story of two people who are in love with each other yet don’t seem to admit it.

The story is a breath of fresh air and just the right length to read as a break in between longer novels or as a refresher and change of taste from hardcore to more serious novels.

The only problem is not with the story itself and not with poor writing but with the editing. The editing is poorly done and I had to reread certain pages and areas over again; it is difficult to ignore obvious errors that are blatantly overlooked.

For a publishing house editorial person to disrespect an author by not giving them 100% of their editorial attention even though the book is a novella is sad.

Even though the editing botch is annoying, the storyline isn’t and I would read this again as my refresher novella.

    Three Stars Prologe~ by Goldenshadow

Froststar looked over at her clan wishing she could find out who Cinder was. The prophecy said. The cat of the Jay the one wh is called Cinder shall save the clan. Froststar was still confused. It had been threee moons since she had resevied that prophecy from Lilyflower. Then she remebered: Jayfur just had kits yesterday. She paded down the High-Stone and paded into the nursury to see her only daughters kits. "They are beautyful. Have you named them yet?" Jayfur shook her head. "No nor yet except for this one." She pionted her nose to a little gary she kit. "Her name is Cinderkit." Froststar had hoped Jayfur had been joking but now she new that her grand daughter would save her clan. She gazed at the other two. Froststar gave a curt nod before exiting the nursury. She saw Graystorm father of Jayfurs kits. 'I do hope she dosnt cause destruction.' Froststarthought as she entered her den and driftered of to a deep sleep
