Meet the Author

Svetlana Chmakova was born and raised in Russia until the age of 16, when her family emigrated to Canada. She is best known for Dramacon (OEL; Tokyopop), the 2-page The Adventures of CG for CosmoGIRL! magazine, and the webcomic Chasing Rainbows for Girlamatic. She graduated from Sheridan College with a three-year Classical Animation Diploma. Her credits also include how-to-draw-manga books, RPG manuals, toy designs, and animation. Svetlana will continue to make regular appearances at comic and anime conventions with Yen Press, meeting with fans and signing Nightschool promo art.

    Very good manga series

    I love these books! My only problem is that they are kind of slow, but i got over it. Im still waiting for the next part to come out though, it seems like its taking forever to come out though.

    Love her!

    Sevtlana is one of my favorite manga- ka's Dramacon was great and i love this one too but it feels like a sequel is just waiting to make it's debut. I hope so.
