Meet the Author

Veronica Lawlor is currently on the faculty of Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design. She also teaches at Dalvero Academy, a private academy of drawing and illustration that she founded with Studio 1482 member Margaret Hurst in 2005. She is the president of Studio 1482, an illustration collective based in New York City. Veronica’s work may be seen at studio1482.com/veronica. This book is fabulous… but you've gotta get the paint out and do the exercises. I must admit I'm not doing the every day, but a couple a week is working for me. The author has a facebook page where people share their art, which is fun too… so get the book, and get busy.
