Nice book, scamming flood victims for content?

I bought two copies of this book right after it was released because a photo taken by my husband appears in it. Unfortunately my husband has yet to receive payment for the use of his photo in Mr. Stein's book. The payment is actually pretty negligible, but what's really upsetting about this is that my husband and I actually lost our home and most of our possessions in this very flood! Even better - we had just had our first baby who was 3 weeks old at the time! So, it was nice for my husband to have his photo chosen for inclusion, call it a very, very thin silver lining. Too bad this book put a frown on my face every time I see it.

    Good job on Iowa floods

The book was well done, and had great photos. It was very interesting and offered pictures I hadn't seen anywhere else. I was disappointed, though, that the author didn't follow the flood to the Iowa border. There was a great deal of damage/flooding in other towns south, Muscatine, Oakville, Burlington, etc. I was really looking to see those areas included.
