WAS IT ONE NIGHT OF PASSION...

When Lady Serena Boyce's husband, the elderly Duke of Warrington, could not give her an heir, he begged her to take a lover in order to conceive a child. She never dreamed it would mean falling in love. One look at the handsome stranger who rescued her from a thief, and virginal Serena was overcome with desire. Dark and compelling, Lucien Clayborne, Marquess of Daneridge, was everything her honor warned her against. Yet the anguish in his soul drew her nearer...and before the night was through, she had gifted him with her innocence.

...OR A LOVE THEY WERE DESTINED TO SHARE?

Then the duke was murdered, and Lucien discovered that Serena was pregnant. Still reeling from the death of his cherished daughter and enraged by his first wife's callous betrayals, Lucien's honor demanded that he make Serena his bride. But the rapture of their one night together had unlocked feelings he thought his heart had forgotten. And now, a chilling evil threatened their chance to claim a love that promised to last a lifetime.

I love this book! Lucien and Serena's love story possesses the emotional intensity equal only to Antony and Cleopatra.

First of all OH MY GOD, how is it I did not know about Shelley Bradley when these books first came out in 2000. From the moment I picked up One Wicked Night to read (which is a re release in e format ) I could not put it down. I love the dynamics of a dominate male and a no so submissive woman. This Book will make you cry scream laugh and possibly want to strangle some one,but will still get you to the warm fuzzy feeling at the end. One Wicked Night is tame compared to Shelley Bradley's other persona Shayla Black

Ms. Bradey has written a fascinating book, filled with complex characters and wonderful prose. She's an extremely talented writer, and I can hardly wait for her next book. I couldn't put down ONE WICKED NIGHT. The story pulled me in immediately and I was sad to see it end. What a great book!

A friend recommended this book, and I'm glad I listened! Both passionate and poignant, One Wicked Night captured my attention from the first page to the last. I could hardly find a place to put it down and had to stay up until 2:30 in the morning to finish it. The characters were great and their chemistry even better. I can't wait until Ms. Bradley's next book!

One Wicked Night was the best, emotionally riveting read I've come across in a long time. One of those books that puts the family on bread and water until Mom finishes the last page!

I love Shayla Bladk and have many of her books. This one however is not one of my favorites. Serena really started to get on my nerves because she was so dumb. I can handle sweet and innocent, but dumb doesn't do it for me.

THis was a good typica HEA book. Even though you could guess the ending early on in the story it was still a fun ride geting there.

This was a really good book. You can relate to both of the main characters very easily and feel empathy for both of them.

What a truly captivating story! I found Ms Bradley's writing style flawless, she brings her characters to life, making them seem so real. The love scenes are some of the most exciting I have ever read. I highly recommend you grab a copy of this book on it's release, I know I will defintitely get a copy for my keeper shelf. Ms Bradley is a very gifted writer, one that is most assuredly on my favorite list!

I usually do not leave reviews, but this book was so bad I had to warn others. I could not believe the immaturity and pathetic-ness (is this even a word?) of the heroine. She is soooo annoying I could not finish the book to find out what happened to the nephew. First of all, her constant comparison to her mother was waaay over the top. Ok, you know what? Mimicking someone's actions is a decision, it is not an inheritable disease. Second, she complains that she doesn't know Lucien very well, but the constant evasiveness and/or lying to his direct questions was grating on the nerves. What a hypocrite! She expects him to tell his life story, but she keeps mum on hers. Third, she cannot seem to make up her damn mind. Grow up a little and decide whether you like the guy or not. In one sentence, she claims to have all these tingly feelings for him, and then in the next dialogue she spews vile things and stuff to him when things do not go her way. That is SUCH the height of maturity (yes, I am being sarcastic). I can understand wanting to be -proper- for that time period, but instead of avoiding the situation, why not think of a better solution rather than being angry and making demands. Ugggghhhh, glad I only borrowed this ebook from the library instead of purchasing it. It would have been a total waste of my money. It was already a big waste of my time. I normally like Shayla Black's books, but this one was just awful.
