    Short and to the point

I was looking for a short devotional to use in the morning. This one sounded good, but it turns out the devotionals are truly very short...too short for my use. I was looking for a devotional of length similar to those found in "Streams in the Desert" or "Daily Bread". Typically it seems the verse selections are 1-3 sentences and the devotional itself can be as short as 2 sentences. Day Four, for instance, has a 1 verse selection and the devotional is 3 sentences. Day Five has a four sentence verse selection and the devotional is also only 3 sentences. If you want a very short devotional time, then this is the book for you. If you want something a bit longer then I would recommend finding another book.

I wanted a daily devotional. This is just what I wanted, 365 devotions based on the words of Jesus. A little brief but to the point. It starts with day one and goes for a year to 365. Easy to use, not complicated.
