Also featured are several songs previously unavailable in the U.S.: "Eclipse," "Isobella," "Song of the Sandman," "Willows on the Water," and "Oiche Chiuin Silent Night." For added enticement, "Oiche Chiuin" is repeated as an enhanced bonus track complete with video footage of a 1996 BBC Television performance. The 48-page booklet includes lyrics, notes on the songs by Enya's longtime collaborator, lyricist Roma Ryan, and photographs. Packaged in book form and enveloped in faux-velvet with a gold-foil logo, this gift is ready for giving.
All Music Guide - James Christopher Monger
As ornate as the sonic tapestries she weaves, Enya's first ever box set is a four-disc marvel of gold and velvet that culls 51 tracks from her first five albums, including B-sides. All of the obvious cuts are here, from her breakthrough single "Orinoco Flow" to "May It Be" from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. The 48-page booklet is bursting at the seams with photographs, illustrations, and track-by-track commentary from lyricist Roma Ryan. The enhanced fourth disc includes a video performance of "Oíche Chiúin (Silent Night)" from a 1996 BBC special. This is an excellent gift for fans of the lauded Irish singer, but it's a bit pricey for someone looking for a brief overview. For listeners in need of a little brevity, 1998's Paint the Sky with Stars: The Best of Enya offers a single-disc experience that covers most of the same territory.

Enya is the best at what she does

Enya is the Queen of new age. Her music is reminiscent of a rare wine. It's essence, a tapestry of sound that takes you to another place.

    Simply Beautiful

Unlike many artists, you will always love each of the songs on the CD's. When you're happy, sad, joyous, or feeling alone, her music will talk to you. She's no sellout, you always know what to expect. She's sold as many records as Janet Jackson, but you don't hear Enya on the radio as much. That should tell you something. If you "Think" you've never heard her music you'll be surprised when you listen to this box set. Her music is everywhere, you probably just didn't know who it was.

If angels sang, they'd sound like Enya

You do not have to understand Enya's words in her music. All you have to understand is that her music nourishes, heals and soothes the soul. Thank you Enya.

If you don't like Enya, you'll convert!

Her voice is as soothing as a lavandar candle, but if you aren't into relaxing when you listen to your music, Enya has created some up-beat exciting songs as well! This truly is a wonderful set to discover something new, or if you are an Enya fan, it's an excellant set to add to your collection!

Great Collection- reminds me of Genie's 4 CD Set

THis set is a great idea- I love it. It's great for gifts. I found out about it while reading in Keyboard Magazine about ENya and Genie, my other favorite artist. I got this for one relative and Genie's 4 CD set for another. They both loved them

A must have for any Enya fan

I asked my husband to get me this for Christmas and I love it. I have almost all of her other releases, but there are a few tracks on this album that I hadn't heard before and loved them. My dad is also a big fan so I know exactly what I will be getting him for his birthday and I know he will love it too.

    Hopefull...It's Only Time...

Before Enya releases a new journey into another dimension with her spiritual songs. True, this collection is just that - a collection of material previously released. The nice touch included besides the velvety cover and the booklet are several tracks that were previously available only in a foreign release. Namely, "Song of the Sandman (Lullaby)." Included in a Japanese film, the song should have been released domestically - and you'll understand why when you listen to it: simply one of the purest efforts Enya has yet produced. Of course, "Isobella" from the "May it Be" CD single is another haunting and subdued song that will easily become one of your favorites. Perennial holiday favorite "Oiche Chiun" is also included and it makes me (as well as others) wonder if Enya will ever release an album of just holiday music - what a timeless classic that could be. Still, for the Enya devotees, and especially those new to Enya's magic, this is a stellar collection - and better sounding than some of the original albums.

Only time will heal this heart of mine

The first time I heard Enya, I was on a hayride with my childhood friend, Young Daniel. The wagon capsized and unfortunately, Daniel developed a severe speech impetiment. He sure did enjoy his Enya, though. Whenever I hear one of her earlier numbers I always get up and do the hustle as a sort of tip of the hat to my old friend. God bless Young Daniel, and God bless you, my fellow Americans.
