Time travel has been an area of intense interest since H G Wells wrote the Time Machine. It has been featured numerous times in the Star Trek television series and films. When I was a kid, I loved the adventures of Superboy as he traveled through time to join the Legion of Superheroes to save the universe.
The other sci fi element is the discovery of a serum that offers eternal life.
These elements are only backdrops to this romantic sci-fi novella, book one in a three part trilogy.
The chapters describe the effect that the heroes are having on one another. The sexual tension is absolutely palpable, and the desire unspoken is so thick, one can hardly wait to turn to the next page.
On the other hand, there is a strong element of adventure as one waits to see what becomes of the eternity serum.
Whatever happens, the book ends before reaching a conclusion that led me wanting to continue and immediately get started on the rerainder of the trilogy.
