    Better than James Bond!!!

This book offers an extraordinary look into the lives of spies and soldiers during WWII. Historical narrative combined with first-hand accounts offers an amazing history of American intrigue. This suspense thriller is a must have for not only history buffs but also fans of the James Bond series. The reader gets an inside look at the way spies operated during WWII and helped win the war and many of the stories will remind the reader of scenes in James Bond movies. I highly recommend this book to anyone fascinated with today¿s ¿spies¿ in our War on Terror! O'Donnell has done it again -- his first two books Beyond Valor and Into the Rising Sun were outstanding but this book takes his work to the next level.

CLASSIC & DEFINITIVE HISTORY OF OSS IN WWII

I read Patrick O'donnell's latest book and was absolutely thrilled. Finally, an author has paid a fitting and accurate tribute the the heroes of the OSS in WWII. Mr O'Donnell's first two books were great, but he took his writing and research to a new level in this book. This book is bound to become a classic in the areas of espionage history and in WWII history. Mr. O'Donnell's book was riveting and impossible to put down. This book has my top recommendation. It will be in a prominent place on my bookshelf.

    Captivating Book

Mr. O'Donnell does a thorough and effective job in capturing the amazing stories of the true heroes of the OSS. One of the best spy books I have read in a long time. A definate read for all of those interested in the world of espionage as well as the world of James Bond!
