    Easy and fun to read

¿Opportunities in Environmental Careers¿ is very insightful in that it talks about the best colleges to attend if one is are interested in this type of career. It also has a separate chapter for every branch of this career: for example there is a chapter on how to get started in Wildlife Preservation or Environmental Health. After reading this book, reader should be able to know if they really would like a job that deals with Environmental Careers. As Fanning puts it ¿It takes a special kind of person to handle this type of work.¿ What he is trying to say is that if some one doesn¿t like to be outdoors, then he or she shouldn¿t try to major in this area. If one thinks that he or she would like to do this, then they are probably looking at two to four years of college depending on the Environmental Career that you choose. Environmental Careers is a very insightful book and anyone who is thinking about a career in this line of work should definitely look into it. <P> Odom Fanning does a very good job getting the purpose of the book across. In the first chapter he tells about how one would go about getting themselves started in this career, and what colleges one should attend to get the most training for their particular field. Odom then continues the rest of the book by going in depth to each of the fields of this career. He then finishes up by talking about his personal experiences that he has had while in the Wildlife Protection ag. ency. Odom makes this book very easy to read and at the same time very informational
