He has spent more than 20 years architecting, building, and managing complex Oracle database-based solutions for clients such as NBC, AT&T, Sabre, and the Boy Scouts of America. Sam is the author of eight Oracle database administration books, including OCP Oracle Database 11g New Features for Administrators Exam Guide and OCA Oracle 10g Application Server Administrator Exam Guide. He holds several Oracle certifications, including Oracle OCP DBA, Oracle OCP Oracle Application Server Administrator, HP-UX UNIX System Administration Certification, and the Oracle WebLogic Server 10g System Administrator Certified Expert.
