Absolutely Fantastic Storytelling!! I happened upon this book strictly by chance, as I was at work bored one day and this book for was free, so I figured, "Why not?" I was, and still am after reading all three books in the Trilogy, BLOWN AWAY!! As an avid fan of RA Salvatore, and Stephen King, this was not my usual interest. I have literally cried, laughed, felt fear, worry, and much relief while reading this book. The characters become apart of you, and the history and backgrounds of not only the characters but their world is so fascinating, you can't help but lose yourself in the story. I actually found myself thinking about the story-line while working or driving, etc. To RB Holbrook, if you never write another story, you have still accomplished a fantastical triumph in my eyes. That being said, I would love to read more, both about these characters and any others you may wish to share with us. Thank you, for your lovely story. Thank you.

Well written, with good detail that is not as involved as Tolkein- but not as sporadic as most fantasy series; you will be drawn into their world. Not too deep to understand either, so even young adult readers would enjoy. The books are full of action without being gory or gross about it. And has love scenes that are not pornographic. A wonderful series of books!

I enjoyed the book but found myself bound up in intricate details that were hard to track. Still a four star book.
