Audience: This lavishly illustrated atlas and text, written by an expert in the field, would be a great asset to pathologists in training, practicing pathologists, or any medical or dental professionals with an interest in oral pathology.
Features: The book's most notable feature is the selection of high-quality gross and histologic images, with numerous pictures illustrating the diverse histologic findings of each entity. Accompanying these images is a concise review of each entity, including the histologic criteria for diagnosis, differential diagnosis, clinical correlation, and treatment options. Other important features include a short chapter on normal oral histology and a short appendix section with management of mucosal disease.
