Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Beautiful photographs introduce these animals which share many human characteristics. The orangutan is shown in its tree habitat--a baby hitches a ride with mom, swings on a vine, eats and builds a nest of leaves. On the back cover of this board book, kids are encouraged to measure their hands against the handprint of an orangutan. Pictures of human and orangutan hands and feet display both similarities and differences. A good choice for young kids and a perfect selection before or after a trip to the zoo. Part of the "Animal Safari" series.
