Overview

Joseph Ratzinger, before becoming Pope Benedict XVI, had already achieved a reputation as an excellent thinker. We are in the presence of a true intellectual, in the classic sense of the word, a philosopher who has never given up on the search for the truth. Meet the Author

After finishing school with the Maristas, José Pedro Manglano studied philosophy, taught classes, and obtained his PhD in philosophy. Later he was ordained as a priest and started to study theology. He started to write almost by accident. After explaining the same thing thousands of times, he thought of writing to share his conversations with others. He wrote two collections—Talking with Jesus and A Collection of Questions. Later, he started his collection Thoughts for Belaqua Press as part of his work as a priest. He is on the advisory council for the Observation of Religious Freedom and Consciousness, a contributor to the magazine New Life, a professor of anthropology in the school of Informational Science of the Complutense University of Madrid, a chaplain and member of the Showing Christianism Association, and a member of the editorial council of the Lecturers Club in Argentina.
