¿De dónde surgía la descomunal fortaleza interior que llevó a esa mujer de escaso tamaño a proyectar su voz hasta el último confín de la Tierra? Según la Madre Teresa, la respuesta es tan sencilla que, quizá por eso, precisamente, no se le presta la debida atención, porque uno siempre busca explicaciones complejas. Esa explicación es Jesús, reconocido, amado y servido en los pobres más pobres.

Todo en ella se torna sencillo cuando leemos sus textos y nos acercamos a su pensamiento. La palabra «amor», presente en todos ellos, que profesaba la Madre Teresa por Jesús, se tradujo, para ella, en una constante oración, como se verá en este libro, que es un excelente apoyo para la oración y un paso en el camino hacia el amor a Cristo y a los demás.

Meet the Author

José Luis Gonzalez-Balado is originally from Soutelo (Orense). He has lived, studied, and worked as a journalist and an editorial technician in various European countries, until his return to Spain in 1973. A prolific author and expert on religious themes, one of his most well-known biographies is Mother Teresa of Calcutta, with whom he enjoyed a long friendship and who also contributed to the book. His books and articles on Mother Teresa have been translated into more than a dozen languages.
