Orar, pensamiento espiritualby Jose Luis Gonzalez-Balado
Mother Teresa received public attention all of her life, and her works were followed by thousands of people, whether they were believers or not. When she died in 1997, this interest increased. The media tried to understand what she did to make everyone want to know her in person, or simply to know more about her life and her work. Where did the huge inner strength come from, that allowed her to project her voice to the corners of the Earth? According to Mother Teresa, the answer is Jesus, recognized, loved, and served by the poorest of the poor. When you read her books and you get closer to her thoughts you will find that everything about her was simple. The word love, present in everything that Mother Teresa professed, was translated for her into a constant prayer, as you will see in the book, which is an excellent support for prayer and a step in the path toward the love of Christ and all others.
