Meet the Author

Andrew Chafin lives and works in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia in the small town of Lebanon, Virginia. His life's work has been in helping improve the quality of life for the Appalachian people through his work with the Cumberland Plateau Planning District. Chafin's hobby is writing about Appalachia and its people and places. His first book, Growing Up in Bloody Mingo was published by Heritage Books in 2003. This book was followed by Noble's Decision, a novel about life, love, and politics in a small Appalachian town. From West Virginia with Love is the sequel.
