This book literally changed my life!

For most of my life I'be been a misplaced contemplative and mystic in our action-packed and results-oriented world, but I never was able to verbalize the things I knew to be true about my inner core, and always felt that I 'should' be more sociable, more involved, more self-sacrificing, more ambitious. And then Marsha came along to give me not only the words, but assured me that I was on the right path for becoming the 'ME' I was meant to be. At age 53, I left everything behind, packed my car with very minimal possessions and went to a part of the country where I felt 'connected with the earth' for the first time in my entire life. Some members of my family understood the need, and some did not; but since they were all adults at that time, I felt that it was my turn to develop my unique inner core and spiritual way. I have since pared my life down to the bare minimum, live alone without much social involvement and continue to follow my singular spiritual path. I paint and enjoy nature, live in quiet contemplation, have an active prayer life, truly injoy every moment of every single day, and have had dozens of 'mystical' experiences that are beyond words where I have felt remarkable connections with God (or the universe, or however one wishes to define it)--and for the first time ever I am truly contented and happy. I've reread the book about five times now, find new things to ponder every time, and continue on my journey without fear or hesitation, just KNOWING that I am a child of God and that I'm loved, and trusting so totally that I truly believe at this point almost anything could happen and it would not throw me off center. The wonderful thing about this book was that it put all that I have experienced ever since early childhood into some kind of language and made me realize I was not alone in the quest. Thank you Marsha Sinetar!!!
