Editorial Reviews

Cassie @CuzinLogic
This story, by K. Blue, is an honest and insightful book about learning from previous experiences. I loved the style of the book and how each chapter presented a new “truth” found through some story that happened to the author. The writing was frank and upfront as if someone was telling you the story rather than you reading it. I find myself wishing there was more chapters so I can read more entertaining tales and learn more lessons in life.

    Love this book!

Funny and real this book was an easy, uplifting read. Can see myself picking it up to re-read chapters when I need a boost.

If you are looking for a book that is easy to read and a light with a simple message, you just may have found the ideal book. It will not take you long, but you will find some little gems of wisdom within the simple anecdotes the author tells.

Most of her stories did not resonate with me, but it is clear that she is able to see messages in her simplest of life experiences. There are a couple choice words (mild warning to the more sensitive readers), but I cannot say I felt truly offended. She was kind enough to leave out an objectionable detail in her toilet story (that one was a hoot!).

What could have made this better? I generally do not comment on the typos in a manuscript, but I do hope that later editions will correct the issues because once in a while the typos made it very difficult to decipher the meaning. But I did not mark the book down for that reason.

While I appreciated the brevity of each anecdote, I sometimes found that I was unable to connect with the story or even understand the meaning of the story. I also would have preferred the stories to be a little more organized thematically. Those are just my personal opinions. I would still recommend it as a delightful read for the majority of people. I love the story about the cat!

I was provided with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated in any way, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
