My struggle of finding the right (and affordable) skin and body

My struggle of finding the right (and affordable) skin and body care is over. Thanks to this book! While I perfectly know that great ingredients for skin and body care can be found in the kitchen, I only have a very little idea on how to mix and use them. This book by Rebecca Totilo, Organic Beauty with Essential Oil, is everything we need in attaining the perfect skin and healthy glow everybody covets. It’s totally a complete package for a luxurious (yet inexpensive) head-to-toe pampering!

The book is indeed very informative. It started with the basics – explaining the importance of designing your own custom body product, what essential oils are, and everything you need to know before starting to formulate your very own beauty must-have. And like its cover promised, it contains 400 luscious recipes which are all organic, eco-friendly, and economical. From bath oils, scrubs, facials, creams and lotions to natural toothpaste, lip gloss and balms, shampoo, nail treatment oils, foot scrub, and much, much, much more! I honestly could not get enough of this book. Every time I fancy for a new lavish facial mask or a shower gel with a fresh new scent, I just check this book out. Even my mom and my sister find this organic beauty guide very helpful. There are ingredients and recipes included in this book which I was not even aware that are great for body care! And what I love about this more is that the recipes are customizable; you can easily fiddle with the formulas depending on your desires and needs. It is definitely a great advantage because everyone has different skin types and body essentials.

Drop those chemically formulated beauty products now and get your own personalized unique beauty treat! This is NOT like the old lame beauty recipe books out there. Informative, useful, exciting, and fabulous! I recommend this to everyone. A+!

I really don’t like using beauty products that you can buy in the store and I avoid taking medications if I can avoid it.  So many products in stores have preservatives and other chemicals that I don’t want on my body.  This book has the most comprehensive list of uses of different oils I’ve seen and it is full of easy to use recipes for all kinds of health and body products.  I was really impressed by the detail in this book.  The author even explains how to care for the essential oils, other ingredients and finished products so that the reader can get the best results.  There are recipes for so many things such as lip balm, skin care, and even toothpaste, which I never thought I could make on my own.  I look forward to trying more recipes with natural products.
