This book changed my life as a mom with adhd

If you have adhd or your just disorganized this is the first book that i read cover to cover on organizing or cleaning and applied its method. It changed my life. The way I think about things. I took about a month...and cleaned out over 40 garbage bags of stuff out of my 1600 sq ft house. And this was 6 mos after a move when i had already consolidated all i thought i could to move into smaller house. My life is less cluttered. More manageable to clean and i tell everyone i know about this book. Even those without adhd. I am eternally grateful, because do you really need 10 wooden spoons....when was the last time you made dinner and used more than 2 at the same time! Love it. Great pictures too...godsend this book is. Especially if you have kids...

This booked actually helped me cope with my ADHD. It did more than just help me to organize.
Here's what great about it as a book, for the ADHDer:
    - Each chapter She has few pages on her general philosophy/logic where she explains she's the mother of a child and a professional organizer,
and the combination of the two resulted in this book..
    - Then she cordones off the house, room by room, and color codes it. She has a couple of paragraphs for those who like to know why,
and before and after "How-to" pictures with short, captioned summaries for those who don't have the patience for the paragraphs.

I really think she has all the angles covered, and she seems to understand ADHD well

. Get this book. It's good for you.

    Life changing.

This book is amazing. It has completely changed the way I think about things and has helped me to learn new ways to deal with things but has also given me the tools to teach my son who also has adhd how to help himself succeed. I felt so understood when I read this and it made me understand even more about myself and why none of the other things I have ever tried have worked!
